Will bruxism become the dental caries of the 21st Century? Depending upon the literature, bruxism has been described as a ‘sleep disorder’ a ‘neurological disorder’, a ‘dental disorder’ and a ‘psychiatric disorder’. Dentists will appreciate how bruxism will impact their daily practice and topical issues relating to the subject matter will be discussed.
