This lecture will outline recent advances in orthodontics, more specifically in the area of orthodontic implants, aesthetic options for treatment and 3D technology and give an understanding of how these advances are changing the facilities available to the orthodontist, and how they can be used individually or in combination to improve quality of treatment outcome while reducing the visual impact of braces
